During the 2006 LASSEN COUNTY FAIR I had the opportunity to photography many of the fairs varied events. Thanks to fair manager Jim Walcott, who gave me full access to the fair. The photos in this gallery are the result of my efforts over the five days of fair. The fair office submitted several of my photos to contests withing the fair community. I was honord to be awarded 1st place by the Western Fairs Association "cover contest". For their "Fair Dealer" magazine cover. I was also honord to find out that I had received international recognition by being awarded a 2nd place Agricultural Award of Excellence from the International Association of Fairs and Expositions (IAFE). This award was presented to the Lassen County Fair during the 116th annual IAFE Convention in Las Vegas and is sponsored by John Deere.
